Interreg project AWASTER – Adopting Waste as a Resource

The Interreg AWASTER project aims to reduce waste production by promoting the principles of the circular economy in the coastal areas of Italy and Croatia through: analysis of approaches to the circular economy, exchanges of experience and best practices to develop guidelines, a joint cross-border strategy and an action plan on the sustainable use of resources and finally the implementation of a cross-border action plan through laboratories in schools with an intergenerational approach, workshops, stakeholder interviews and organisation of regional "zero waste" events.
