Tenerife, SoFIA project – NESOI

The project consisted in elaborating a feasibility study within the European Facility NESOI to establish energy communities around PV assets in the city of Adeje (Tenerife). For collective self-consumption, community members will be given a monetary benefit (reduction of the network fee). Over the course of the study, various ways to increase the level of self-consumption have been assessed: electrification of water heating and cooking solutions, possibly e-mobility. Generation technologies other than PV was also studied.
