Verification of the bankability and financiability of the Cooperativa COAGRI - in the province of Cagliari - with the aim of providing financing, through the refinancing of the Jessica Sardegna 2 Fund, Aimed at providing financial support for the investment that includes the creation of a renewable energy community within the fruit and vegetable market of Sestu. Sinloc’s work includes the structuring of financing and analysis of the economic, financial and procedural feasibility of the project.
Requirements
COAGRI, the cooperative company owned by commercial and agricultural companies operating within the Agrofood Centre of Sardinia, has the need to reduce the electricity costs required for lighting and power supply of cold rooms in market operators' boxes. The project of building a photovoltaic system on the roof of the fruit and vegetable market in Sestu (CA) was born, with the aim of creating a renewable energy community.
Features
Coagri Sardegna which invests 5% of liquidity in the energy transition project, to which is added the financing of the Fund Jessica Sardegna 2 and an intervention of banking finance.
Results
In 2023 the CER "Via del Sole" was created. COAGRI was the first Italian wholesale structure to create an energy community, with benefits estimated at around 3 million euros and a 20% reduction in energy costs for the approximately 70 market players, thanks to the photovoltaic system of 900 KWp placed on the roof of the structure of Sestu.
