The project consisted in elaborating a feasibility study within the European Facility NESOI for the development of local renewables together with hydrogen-based devices. The demonstration site of the Horizon 2020 project REMOTE, a farm located in La Aldea, will be the starting point to further investigate the benefits of additional uses of hydrogen. The project foresees the installation of a small fleet of fuel cell minibuses to connect La Aldea to the biggest city of the island, Las Palmas.
