Creation of a digital platform (DUP Digitale) to support the triennial programming of the municipality of Terni, aimed at collecting data for strategic and management control, indicating the connections between operational objectives and strategic orientations and objectives of the institution.
The platform allows a widespread data collection by simplifying and speeding up the time of aggregation of instrumental information to the drafting of the DUP (Unique Programming Document). In addition, the tool provides for the loading of a dataset of indicators related to the directorates, stakeholders and controls that the institution must perform , which can be modified and updated over time.
Requirements
The municipality of Terni, in order to digitise its administrative planning processes, has expressed the need to collect information in a more precise and orderly manner, Reduce the time taken to process information for the DUP and track data over time.
Features
The DUP Digital was developed in co-design with the municipality, arriving at the definition of a platform that collects and sorts data, visualized in a customizable Business Intelligence dashboard with data export functionality in Excel format. The Entity assigns roles to platform users by binding features to the level of privileges.
Results
Thanks to the development and adoption of DUp Digital, the Entity has reduced the time of information collection increasing accuracy, avoiding the proliferation of mail and document exchanges between Managers and staff responsible for data collection and sending, The ability to view data in real time from compilations has also been improved and the level of traceability of the data has increased.
Finally, the operational objectives were linked to the 2030 Agenda (SDGs) and BES.
