Technical assistance to the RUP, within the project "Elena Chieti Towards 2020" aimed at planning, evaluation, preparation of tender documents for the implementation of energy efficiency measures in Public-Private Partnership in 100 municipalities and 130 buildings, with an investment of about 80 million €.
Requirements
In order to manage the "Elena Chieti Towards 2020" program, the Province of Chieti, in agreement with municipalities and other public bodies of the territory, has requested the support of a specialized staff that, through a legal assistance, financial and technical administrative support in the preparation of documentation necessary for the implementation of the project and the promotion of the tender for the selection of E.S.Co realizers of interventions.
Results
Around 130 public buildings and around 60,000 lighting points in 100 municipalities have been awarded for energy efficiency. The total investment foreseen for these interventions is more than 21 million Euro. Energy savings expected on the lighting points under intervention is 55% or about 6,253 MWh per year.
The intervention also allowed to spread the use of contracts type Energy Performance Contract (EPC) for the implementation of energy efficiency through the mechanism of Financing Through Third Parties (FTT). This contractual typology allows the public body to have a greater guarantee and security regarding energy savings obtained from interventions.
