How we collect your personal data

The Company collects and processes your personal data in the following circumstances:

  • if you contact us to make a request via the “Contact” form ;
  • if you submit an application for an open position at the Company, via the “Careers” form ;

In this case, please do not include any particular category of data in your application unless this is expressly requested due to the type of application, as in the case of positions reserved for specific categories; outside of this hypothesis, where such data is present, the Company will immediately delete it and will not proceed with its further processing.

The provision of data is mandatory to respond to your requests; otherwise we will not be able to proceed. As for any particular categories of data, if present within the limits indicated above, their processing is legitimated pursuant to art. 9, paragraph 2, letter b) of the GDPR.

  • c) Sending periodic newsletter

If you are interested and subject to specific consent, you will be inserted into a database in order to receive future communications via e-mail regarding open opportunities in Sinloc , events and other relevant information that may be of interest to you.

Furthermore, the Company may process your contact data for marketing and advertising communication purposes, in order to send you a periodic newsletter, aimed at keeping you updated on products and services, or initiatives promoted by the Company, where you spontaneously provide your and -email inside the dedicated box on the website.

Prerequisite for processing: the legitimate interest of the Company to establish and maintain an effective relationship with you.

  • d) Compliance with legally binding requests to fulfill a legal obligation, regulations or provisions of the judicial authority, as well as to defend a right in court

The Company may process your personal data to fulfill a legal obligation and/or to defend its rights in court.

Prerequisite for processing: legal obligations, which the Company is obliged to comply with.

How we keep your data safe

The Company uses appropriate security measures to improve the protection, security, integrity and accessibility of your personal data.

All your personal data is stored on our protected corporate Cloud (or paper copies suitably archived through specific protection methods ) or on those of our suppliers, and are accessible and usable based on our standards and our security policies (or equivalent standards for our suppliers).

If you are given and accept a job offer from Sinloc, the personal data collected during the pre -employment period will become part of Sinloc ‘s personnel records , to be retained throughout the period following your employment with Sinloc .

If the hiring is not successful, Sinloc may still continue to store and use the personal data collected during the recruiting process in order to consider new positions and, possibly, refer to a previous application if you send a CV in the future.

Sinloc determines the information retention period based on the following retention criteria:

  • Sinloc retains your personal data as long as it has ongoing relationships with you;
  • Sinloc retains your personal data, for as long as permitted by applicable law, to compare them with future open positions that we may wish to inform you of;
  • Sinloc retains your personal data where required by a legal obligation to which it is subject.

Your personal data that is no longer necessary, or for which there is no longer a legal basis for its conservation, will be irreversibly anonymized or securely destroyed.

Who we share your data with

In general, access to your personal data will be limited to minimize the number of people in the Sinloc organization who need it for the purposes set out in this privacy policy, which may include your potential future managers, their designees and Human Resources personnel.
